County Youth Field Days
Our Chapter helps to sponsor 6 County Youth Field Days in the following counties: Berks, Bucks, Columbia, Lehigh, Montgomery & Northampton throughout the year. Monies donated help fund these programs for our youth.
Sensory Safari
Sensory Safari presentation to Upper Bucks Christian School, 3rd Grade by Michael Walters this past Spring. The class enjoyed the presentation and used the information to supplement their animal studies. The students response was so great that the Lehigh Valley Chapter Sables donated a Safari-in-a-Box to the school to further enhance their curriculum.
LVSCI Supporting Veterans
LVSCI works through the VFW in Kansas City, Missouri to qualify and select disabled veterans for fully sponsored antelope hunts. LVSCI pays the total cost of the hunts with Doonan Gulch Outfitters of Brodus, Montana. These veterans would most likely never get the opportunity to hunt if LVSCI did not support them. To date, we have sent 23 veterans on the antelope hunt. We would like to thank these brave veterans for their outstanding service to our country, and congratulate them on their successful hunts.
