LVSCI is proud to support Hunters Helping the Hungry (HHH), a 501C.3 non-profit started in 1997. The goal is to raise money to pay participating state inspected butchers to process donated deer. Hunters can take advantage of liberal hunting seasons instituted by the NJ Fish and Game Council to harvest more deer than they can consume to donate the extra deer to HHH. The donations help feed the hungry through the NJ food bank system and the increased harvest reduces crop damage, benefits forest regeneration and reduces automobile accidents.
