Our chapter lost a good man last week. Past-president Don Meske passed away Friday, January 13th. Don was instrumental in starting our Charitable Foundation and was also involved with getting the 1st Governor’s elk tag in to law in PA. He was described by a friend as “ a man who never stopped giving”.
Who is headed to Nashville in February? Be sure to put in that LVSCI is your referring chapter when you register. Our code is PALEH. The photo below shows where to add the code during registration.
Big news for LVSCI:

I received a call from national earlier this week. Lehigh Valley has been unanimously selected to receive the Chapter of the Year award for all the work we have completed in 2022. Three chapter of the year awards are presented each year; one for membership under 200 members, one for international chapters and one for our group, membership over 200 members. LVSCI is the third largest chapter sitting at 557 members, behind only, Houston (1030 members) and Alaska (597 members). 2022 was a big year for us with numerous projects completed for veterans, youth/education and conservation. None of these would have been possible if it wasn't for the massive support we receive from you; our members, our donors and our contributors. As president of your chapter, I can’t say enough how proud I am to represent you but the credit for this accomplishment is shared by the entire board of directors. We have a GREAT team that serve the chapter tirelessly. I can't wait to see what 2023 brings. For now, thank you to all and best wishes to everyone for a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Bob Newland
President LVSCI

Last year we sold out of one and almost sold out of the other. Big Money Ticket is $100 and includes admission into the Friday banquet/auction. Gun tickets are $50 each or 3 for $100 and get drawn at the Saturday Evening banquet/auction. Contact a board member for tickets or reach out to me, Bob Newland.
Thank you for your support!!!

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ANYONE OTHER THAN A BOARD MEMBER. There are too many scammers out there these days.
Your chapter in the news: Check out the December issue of Safari Times. LVSCI receives recognition for our support of Keystone Elk Country Alliance. If you haven’t visited KECA you owe it to yourself to go.
